Background to THE WORLD OF UTOPIA
Imagine if you will, a world reminiscent of another age or another planet, our world is Aragos. Life is good and easy for the rich of Aragos, for the people who rule, for the intelligensia. These people have everything they need to make their lives happy and contented. They are the HAVE’s. Away from Aragos City however, life is very different and much harder. In a place called The Shell live the Haven’ott’s. These are the people rejected by Aragos, sifted out at a young age in the Masters of The Kingdom Ceremony, because they are not of a pure bloodline. These however are the workers of Aragos, the people who produce food, not only to feed themselves but also to feed those living in luxury in Aragos City. The monthly quota of produce the Haven’ott’s produce is carefully monitored by those in authority. For years these downtrodden folk fought amongst themselves, in gangs, trying to get a better lot, but all that has stopped since the arrival of Rand. Rand precides over the council of The Shell, and has brought unity to these poorest of people. However, there is unrest brewing at the unfairness of the lot metered out to the Haven’otts and a revolution is brewing... Meanwhile in Aragos, celebrations are being prepared for the Queen’s birthday, but even here, where life is easy there is trouble brewing, and deception in the shape of Minister Tarr looms large...
